WESTERN TREASURE VALLEY BACKYARD BARBEQUE!

Join fellow BHA members and our friends from Idaho Traditional Bowhunters for an evening of great food, great people, and great conversation at the Idaho BHA and ITB Western Treasure Valley Backyard Barbecue!

Whether you are a longtime BHA member, brand new to the organization, or simply someone who loves our public lands and outdoor traditions, we would love to have you join us. This event is all about bringing together people who care about hunting, fishing, conservation, and protecting the public lands we all enjoy.

      What to Bring:

• Folding chairs
• Food for the barbecue
• Your favorite beverages
• Plates, cups, and plastic utensils

We Will Provide:

• Barbecue grills (a number of them will be provided)
• Some shade and seating areas
• Great company and conversation
• A couple of short and informative guest speakers:

And don’t leave the kids at home — we have activities planned just for them!

Kids-Only Archery Range: Janet Houlihan, USA Archery Certified Instructor and ITB and BHA Life Member, along with her husband Bill, are back!  They were the highlight of our first BBQ in June where the kids wore them out!  They volunteered again and will help your kids safely enjoy sending arrows down range at fun targets. 

Kids-Only Fly-Casting Station:   We have a fun opportunity for kids to learn and practice fly casting.

This is meant to be a relaxed backyard gathering where we can enjoy good food, meet new people, share stories, and continue growing the community of people dedicated to preserving and protecting our public lands. 

Most importantly, we want you to invite others! Every one of us knows friends, family members, neighbors, coworkers, or fellow outdoor enthusiasts who value public lands but may not yet know about BHA. This is the perfect opportunity to introduce them to our organization in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Gather your friends, family, hunting buddies, fishing partners, neighbors, and anyone else who enjoys the outdoors, and join us for a fantastic evening in Middleton on July 9th!
